Hey guys! I recently decided that I didn’t want to upgrade my old PC and wanted to build a new one from scratch. So I wiped my old one and waited in the mail (for almost two weeks) for my new case and everything else to arrive.
I really wanted one of those new fancy RTX 30 series cards from Nvidia, but, as you may already know, getting one right now is incredibly difficult unless you’re willing to overpay for them from one of those asshole scalpers on the Internet. So what I did instead was buy a cheap (new) 2060 Super along with a new case, motherboard, CPU, and, well, everything.
This is the reason for my long absence. I didn’t have a PC to use because I wiped my old and gave it to my wife for Valentines Day. During that time I did some gaming on my Xbox One X and played a whole lot of Madden 21 and Dark Souls III. The latter of which I might write about.
The first game I installed on my new PC was Nioh 2 and I fell in love with it right away. It’s so much better than the first game and I might even like it as much, or even more, than Bloodborne which is crazy! I can’t wait to write about it, but I want to at least get to 20 hours before I write my first impression on it. I also reinstalled The Division 2 for that Resident Evil event and for the Faye Lou content that they added this season.
Now that I’m back it’s time to get back to work. I’m already working on a few pieces and my second game review on this new website. My absence this time had nothing to do with my mental health or any personal shit. I’m good both mentally and physically right now and I’m itching to write again.
Hi,
I’m Omar. I’m the founder of drakulus.com and the new founder of Petescorner.net. I cover every type of game genre there is and I’m using all of the skills I learned over the last 7 years working on Drakulus to make Pete’s Corner the best it can be. My favorite types of games are strategy, RPGs, and Shooters. That doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy other types of genres. Those are just my top 3. You can expect my brutally honest opinion on what I think of games in long reviews, editorial pieces, and game news coverage.
