Modding has been a thing for PCs longer than I’ve been a PC gamer. One of the reasons why I became a PC gamer was because I wanted to mod Skyrim. Just about every popular open-world game has mods of all sorts and they’re way kinkier than being able to romance a make-believe female in a video game.
The female I’m referring to is Judy. A mod recently released that makes it possible to romance Judy by altering some lines in Cyberpunk 2077. Lines that were ALWAYS there because there were already existing voice lines for the male character. All this modder did was restore the cut content and make it possible to romance Judy as a male V.
Obviously, this rubbed some people the wrong way. Some idiot on Twitter even went as far as to say this
Leave it to the modding community to force a gay character to be straight in order to live out some sort of strange fantasy.

I guess PC gamers aren’t allowed to have the freedom to do what they want with their own game now… Look at all the mods for Skyrim. Why didn’t anyone lash out at that game for making Lydia a romanceable character? Or lash out at all of the thousands of nude mods that are available for that game?
To be fair. That guy has torn a new asshole in the comments section. Why? Because you can’t “force” a make-believe character to do anything. She doesn’t have feelings because she’s not real. Modders have been altering game files for years and now people want to bitch and complain because a lesbian character was made straight. A lesbian character that had hidden romance dialogue towards male V! Don’t blame the modder blame CD Projekt Red for hiding the files, to begin with.
Some idiot even went as far and said that “straight people are sort of the worst.” because of the straight mods for Dorian and Sara in Dragon Age Inquisition. The LGBT community is up in arms over a video game because a female character they like is now able to be romanced by male V. I don’t care that CD Projekt Red gave an official response. The fact is that the files were there and were recovered and are now usable by PC gamers.
They were too lazy to remove the dialogue lines and code and it’s now in the hands of modders and they’re going to do whatever they want with it. There’s nothing wrong with this at all.
The same person also wrote this
“Things have pretty much progressed in the same way with Cyberpunk 2077, with a Cyberpunk 2077 mod/hack that makes a male/female V able to form a romantic relationship with gay characters, like Judy and Kerry. We won’t be sharing how to do it because, frankly, mods like this are dangerous by design, but if you’re curious we’re certain you’ll find stuff on YouTube.”
and this
Honestly the previous title was Straight Men Fuck Off but decided to be a bit more formal.

All of this drama over a fucking mod is hilarious to me. It’s a mod that YOU DON’T HAVE TO DOWNLOAD so why all the fuss? Oh, I know, it’s because that’s all people like this do is bitch and complain about something that has absolutely nothing to do with them. They exist to suck all the fun out of everything around everyone and make the world work the way they want it to.
The Judy mod can be found here along with instructions on how to install it to your game. After I’m finished with my female V playthrough I think I’m going to download this mod and give it a shot. We’re finally getting some really interesting mods in Cyberpunk and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
If you’re the type of person to get offended by an optional mod then you probably shouldn’t visit Nexus Mods. And you should stay far, far away from the Skyrim modding scene if something this tame bothers you.
Oh before I sign off it should be known that that exact same mod also makes Panam gay. But no one is bitching about that… It’s even in the title of the mod!
